CAA fights poverty and offers a basic service safety net for low-income individuals and families in Pima County.
Connects immediate assistance to case management and additional resources to promote self-sufficiency and economic independence.
Administers the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)
Purpose:
Energy assistance programs, coordinated by federal and state governments and utilities, are available to assists low-income families meet their energy needs.
Community Services subcontract to social agencies to administer the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP).
This program helps with the deposit of utilities and the payment of bills.
